Restaurant Introduction:

Welcome to Charco, a place where we serve you black bread! Our famous black bread is one of the signature dish called Charco Bread. The vital ingredient in Charco Bread is bamboo charcoal which has its renown benefits such as eliminating toxin out from the food and many more. As we, at Charco strive to serve you only the purest, finest and freshest food, we don’t do Convenience Food and we practice Made In-House as much as possible.

NO CONVENIENCE FOOD
In another word, no processed food is used in any of our dishes. Soup, bread, pasta and many more are made from its basic ingredients; flour. There is no processed food used because we strongly believe in freshly made food as the best way to retain all its nutrition.

MADE IN-HOUSE
Most sauces, marinades or paste which could be found over-the shelf in supermarkets, may be found here too but with a twist. Ours are made in-house by our chefs in our very own restaurant kitchen. We want our customers to have the best from the food they consume here at Charco, that’s why we do our best to produce the freshest food for your minus the preservatives, flavour and colour enhancer. Eat safely, eat well and enjoy your dining with us!

is a shame to know the restaurant is run by graduates of a culinary academy, with that kind of quality of food. we ordered a western and an oriental food. sorry to tell, both are failures. the aglio olio sphaghetti taste fine, but i really cannot understand why in the world the noodles are cut short??!! i have never eaten any "cut spaghetti" in my life before, not in any restaurant, nor in my own kitchen. if the chef thought this is "speclal", then try to eat it himself. the length of the noodles is too short to be rolled up on a fork, yet too long to be scoped on the spoon. real messy. and, the amount of oil they put, good lord! that can easily serve up two plates, instead of one plate of spaghetti!!! the menu says the green curry chicken comes with eggplant, but we only saw huge chunks of chicken in the bowl. the chicken were sooo big piece, you will even feel 'jelak' before eating it! and, the worst is, the meat still taste like from the freezer, really, really disgusting. they obviously had not blanch it well with the hot water before cooking them. this restaurant is a SURE-NO-RETURN!
