A new addition to the KL dining scene, Albion opened its doors in January 2010 and is situated in the thrilling Bukit Bintang area of the city, only a stone’s throw from Changkat Bukit Bintang. Albion serves imaginative food that reflects current trends in British kitchens and innovative cocktails inspired by London Style bars; in its elegant, enticing spaces.

Owners Colin KH Yap and James Grierson chose the location because of its resemblance to London’s Soho; a part of London they have both worked in for over 20 years. Albion strives to source the finest and freshest ingredients for its menu and to introduce new, traditional and expansive dishes to diners on a regular basis. The open frontage with ground floor terrace and first floor balcony is inviting for evening ‘al fresco’ dining. The secluded lounge is a must for having relaxing drinks with friends.

Hong La Qiao Restaurant - 红辣椒川菜火锅城

Ever wish try on authentic Si-Chuan cuisine?

Located in Pudu for almost two decades, Hong La Qiao Restaurant is the first restaurant focusing on Si-Chuan hot pot dining in the place. Hong La Qiao means Red Chillies in Chinese, where it is easy to remember and bring out the theme of the restaurant. The owner, Mr. Li Ying Ping and the chefs are all from China.

"Spicy Diced Chicken" - Fried Diced Chicken that is so Crunchy and full of spice and aroma.

"Boiled Fish in Hot Sauce" - Mouth watering Sliced Fish in boiled in hot sauce, yummy!

The taste of the food here is absolutely authentic as the chefs have decades of experience in cooking Si-chuan dishes and they have never been sloppy on bringing out the taste of the origin to their customers. Furthermore, many of the ingredients are freshly imported from China to preserve authentic flavor of the Si-Chuan dishes.

Stewed "Soo Toong" Pork - Different from others where it is not oily and a bit of sweetness

"Teamed Prawn with Garlic" - Fresh cooked Prawn with light sauce, full of umami.

"YuanYang Hotpot" - Over hundreds of ingredients to choose from!

Hong La Qiao serves up to eight types of hot pot soups and the recommended signature YuanYang Hotpot is made with a recipe that takes years to perfect. There are over 100 kinds of ingredients to choose for the hotpot, you would find rare ingredients like the Australian abalone slices, fresh sea cucumbers, finless eel and they are best taste with specially made sauces.

Si-Chuan Cold Dishes and Dim-Sum

Si-Chuan cuisine also flavor for its cold dishes and dim-sum. Signature dishes like “Spicy Diced Chicken”, “boiled fish in spicy sauce”, “Spicy & Delicious Chicken”, “Drunken Chicken Feet”, “Soya Sauce Pig's Ear”, Vegetable Buns, Steamed dumplings and so on. Hong La Qioa also serves dishes that are not spicy, authentic taste and not oily which perfect for local gourmands nowadays.

Located upstairs of a Thai Specialty Shop (Thai Market Font) in Pandan Indah, the Saifon Thai Restoran is a well-hidden little gem that serves fine Thai Food. Initially started the business in the end of year 2007, the owner Mr Tan setup the restaurant lean and mean with limited decoration but the Chefs are employed from Bangkok who are experienced in Authentic Fine Thai Cuisine.

Saifon Thai Restaurant offers more than 50 variates of Thai Dishes which primarily northern specialties, the taste is guaranteed genuine. You may start off with Somtam (green papaya salad) that pounded with dried shrimp or pickled crab. The Northern-style Nam Prik, Deepfried Shrimps in Lime Sauce, Tomyum Pork Ribs, Kailan stir fried with Salted Fish, Stir-fry chicken with cashew nuts, tom yum nam khon are those that recommended dishes to try as well. Other than the usual Thai dishes, the Charcoal BBQ Seafood is one of the chef's specialties that you shouldn't have missed, which only start from 4pm to 3am daily.

Saifon Thai Restoran has catering service for events like birthday party, anniversary or company functions. The restaurant can easily accommodate a group of 20 to 50 peoples if you decided to have your events held in the restaurant.

South Pacific Cafe & Boutique

There are limited good concept cafes in town especially cafe that having a well balanced quality between food and boutique. Located in Taman Segar Perdana - Cheras, South Pacific Cafe & Boutique came into the town in December 2008 and challenged the market with quality food and reasonable price.

To provide a healthy diet to the customers, the dishes are added specially selected herbs and spices. Targeting the locals' taste bud, South Pacific menu varies from Asian to Western Cuisine and serving healthy breakfast and mouth watering desserts such as Sunrise Pikelets with Ice Cream, pastas, sandwiches and pizzas.

The house specialties Chicken Curry and Kunyit Buttered Rice for example, are favored with Turmeric that assists in remodeling of damaged skin and help in the treatment of psoriasis and other inflammatory skin conditions. For Western delights, Stuffed Apple with Duchess Potatoes is one of the recommended dishes. It's cooked with Oregano that imported from Australia and it contains strong antibacterial properties and good for slowing down the aging process.

After you have filled out your empty stomach, the boutique shop is a must to visit. The clothes are carried directly from Hong Kong and the price is unbelievably cheap and the fashion is so trendy.
