Fukuya, or the House of Happiness when literally translated, is for those who love Japanese most authentic cuisine in utterly perfect presentation and gastronomic sophistication, which is served by the restaurant's Master Chef Ando. The layout of restaurant is created to bring back the reminiscent of a wealthy Japanese family home in the olden days complete with a courtyard surrounded by mock houses, and secret corridors. It is an absolute pleasurable experience of dining the genuine Japanese way.

The restaurant's specialty is the Kaiseki menu ?the beautiful setting becomes more than just that - it serves as the perfect complement to such gastronomical sophistication. A Kaiseki menu, consists only fresh seasonal ingredients, of which most of it are air-flown fresh from Japan each week. The food is prepared according to the strictest traditional methods. Examples of the menu are a platter of sea urchin curd, baby octopus, steamed scallops and fish, a basket of seasonal bamboo shoots, a serving of Dragon roll (tiger prawn rolled with avocado), beef wagyu (most exquisite dish of beef that comes only from the mountainside of Tokyo) A delectable pairing of premium ingredients and artistic presentation and you are all set for a superlative dining experience.
