Most of the students are dying to clubbing or go to pub, lounge or having sex (mostly looking for prostitutes) before their graduation. They like to give excuses like ar....I want to widen my view, just once only else I'll be regret etc...(what's your excuses then?)


Don't say that I'm teaching you how to be naughty ar...ekm..Today, I'm going to share the very basic of liquor before telling you how to order liquor in different occasions.

Lesson one: what xxxxxxxx are you drinking?

Agave: Tequila • Mezcal
Almond: Amaretto
Anise: Absinthe • Arak • Ouzo • Rakı • Pastis • Sambuca
Apple: Applejack • Calvados
Barley: Scotch whisky • Irish whiskey • Japanese whisky
Coconut: Arrack (椰华酒)
Corn: Bourbon whiskey • Corn whiskey • Tennessee whiskey
Egg: Advocaat
Fruit: Brandy • Cognac • Gin • Kirschwasser • Pisco • Rakia • Schnapps • Palinka



Honey: Bärenjäger • Krupnik
Plum: Slivovitz • Ţuică
Pomace: Grappa • Orujo • Zivania • Tsikoudia • Tsipouro • Rakia
Potato: Vodka • Aquavit • Brennivín
Sorghum: Baijiu (高粱)
Rice: Rice baijiu (米酒) • Soju
Rye: Rye whiskey
Sugarcane/Molasses: Rum • Cachaça • Aguardiente • Falernum • Guaro Seco Herrerano
Various raw materials: Shōchū • Canadian whisky



Personally, I prefer Vodka...made of Potato! yes Vodka=potato believe it or not. Well there's too much to remember lar, Just remember those common one then you can bluff you friends already.Btw, those names above, they are all Distilled beverages. cocktails, shooters, flaming, etc are mixed drinks.





So maybe next time...I'll list out the common brands of liquor to you...
