Recently we have conducted an experimental survey in GoEatOut Facebook page to ask our fans to vote for their favorite Japanese restaurant in Klang Valley. We decided to make this as an on-going activity in order to present you an update-to-date Japanese dining reference for you. We will update this list from time to time, come back for more and go to here to vote for your favorite Japanese restaurant (require login to your Facebook account) if you haven’t done so!

Here goes the Japanese Restaurants Top 10 Lists (Click on the name for contact details or leave a comment on it!)

Tao @ Sunway Giza
Although TAO CUISINE servers variety of ASIAN cuisine, it is best well-known for its ALL-U-CAN-EAT Japanese buffet. The good quality of food and service makes this place almost impossible to visit without advance booking.

Rakuzen Japanese Restaurant
Another famous place signature of its food quality and boutique decoration, it has 5 restaurants in Klang Valley to date. Although this is not a budget friendly restaurant, the price that you are paying is definitely worth for your tummy.

Umai-Ya Japanese Restaurant
Located in Damansara Utama, this Japanese restaurant has a modern interior design compare to other places. You will not be disappointed for its weekend buffet. The wide selection of Japanese dishes and bento are pretty decent too.

Matsuba Japanese Restaurant
This little hidden gem in Desa Sri Hartamas is not known by many except locals and food hunters. It’s a nice place to have a casual dinner with friends and family and you may be surprised that they actually serves quite a wide selection of dishes for the Japanese buffet in a small place.

Jogoya
This Japanese buffet restaurant needs no further introduction for its quality of good and service. Even with a large area of dining hall, you may still hard to find a seat without advance booking especially during buffet promotion period.

Saisaki @ Shogun
This restaurant is one of the oldest Japanese buffet restaurants which later expanded into several branches in town due to frequency of over-crowded in many occasions. You will find a huge variation of Asian food beside Japanese cuisines. The buffet promotions will always give your taste bud a surprise.

Nihon kai
You may be fooled by its appearance at first glance. These restaurants serve very best Japanese cuisine that you hardly can find in Klang Valley. Although they are located in place that hard to find, the crowd is always there to have a good treat for their tummy. Have to give credit to their friendly service as well.

Xenri D'Garden Terrace
This place serves seasonal offerings and known for its Kaiseki-style servings. If price is not a concern for you, this is the place you can expect the food made from the best and finest ingredients and prepared by Chef that knows your taste bud.

Daidomon Charcoal BBQ
Originated from Singapore, this is the place you could enjoy the best imported meats around the world. This is a place for BBQ fans without having to making yourself eating uncomfortably especially if you have bad BBQ skills, you could easily get a ‘lesson’ from the waitress. Beside the best meats, their secret sauces are the secret to keep customers coming back too.

Zen Japanese Restaurant
Another nice and comfortable place for enjoying Japanese cuisine operates under “Super Dining” company. You could expect good food and fast services in this place. It’s a perfect place for celebration or events where you need a place that can fit in large amount of people.

Jogoya used to have lots of choices and nice to eat but the lasttime i went this year, not many choices already and not so nice as lasttime.

Tao sucks. The ambiance is nice but service is horrible especially when it's about 9pm, they were hurrying to leave my last orders didn't even come. Choices are so limited

If you haven tried the best restaurant(s), I don't doubt the lower quality ones as mentioned above except for xenri, rakuzen or matsuba ..but the rest .. Nope!
