Great Restaurant for Family Dinner Article Rating

Went over to this Taiwanese restaurant on a weekday night to take advantage of their 35th anniversary set menu promotion.

We ordered the A2 menu that has a roasted crispy whole suckling pig HK style. Although the suckling pig might appear a little oily because it was freshly prepared, it was still relatively hot, crunchy and crispy. Must admit that we really liked the taste of the suckling pig and it was gone in no time!

Next-up was shark fin soup and again, it was piping hot. With some vinegar and pepper added, we emptied it all in no time as well!

The third dish was fried mushroom and lala meat with black fungus. The meat has a special spicy taste, which was very nice but beware that it can be quite fiery hot, especially for the kids - one of our little girl's face turned red and shouting for cold water after taken a bite...

The steamed local sea bass and fried sesame chicken Taiwanese style were delicious as well even though we felt that the chicken has more skin than meat.

By the time we completed the sixth dishes in the A2 menu, we were already quite full. So, we asked to take-away the bamboo yam fried rice.

Overall, we had a very good experience with the restaurant. Services were good and prompt although some of the employees might not understand English well.

We really like to commend on the thoughtfulness of their service staffs - upon seeing us perspiring because of the "heat" from the dishes that we consumed, they turned-on additional aircon and helped us to cool down. Two thumbs up!
