Peter Chye Restaurant offers constant suprises to its diners. Firstly, the base of its hotpot is very smooth, whole seeds of grain are carefully ground by hand, discarding only the final residue in order to maintain the soup's fine texture.
The porridge gruel's natural fragrance simply captivates the hearts of all diners. There are 8 different flavours of soup base with additional hotpot ingredient: Seafood Dumpling, which is a mixture of prawns, fish and pork, as well as perl fishball.
It also offers long-lost traditional snacks such as Teochew egg-sausage and Guangxi cabbage bun.
