Thelonious Funksters, a funk band dedicated to playing original music is back to perform at Alexis. These fine, experienced Kuala Lumpur musicians are at home with any genre of music, but during this special night at Alexis, their primary goal is to groove on funky beats until they see their audience’s feet tapping and bodies shaking in their seats.

The band-leader’s 23 years of experience includes extensive touring in the United States as well as Spain, France and SE Asia. His catchy tunes will remind you of the dirtiest funk, but are always tinged with a jazz-inspired edge of sophistication and unpredictability. If you want to experience a laid-back, groovy vibe that will have you dancing in your chair, the Thelonius Funksters is for you.
