Jake's Charbroil Steakhouse

This US style steak house has been in the business of serving steaks since 1982 and has a regular clientele. Another outlet is now operating at the Starhill Shopping Centre in the city.

Prime cuts of meat are imported from Australia, New Zealand and Argentina. Although offering mainly steaks, other Western cuisine such as jumbo prawns and lamb are also served.

The house speciality is the charbroil Australian Wagyu beef cuts which are served plain or with choices of sauces and accompanied by Idaho potatoes and vegetables. Other specialities are the poterhouse steak which is a 400g T-bone steak with combined tenderloin and sirloin cut.

Grilled jumbo prawns are marinated with special herbs and the New Zealand rack of lamb is a weekend special. Cold cut Arctic surf clams are also served and this is accompanied with wasabi and soya sauce. Other must-tries are the escargot bourguignonne and oyster mornay. Desserts include nutty pecan pie and country-style hot apple pie.
